- This is an undiluted sake storehouse for the Kagura Shuzo brewery, famous for products such as the mugi (barley) shochu Kurouma and soba (buckwheat) shochu Tensho. Originally a tunnel for the Trans-Kyushu railroad, construction was stopped due to flooding but gained new life as a barrel storage facility for shochu due to its unchanging temperature and humidity. Around 1,300 barrels are stored in the 1,115-meter-long tunnel, through which the rich aroma of vapor shochu drifts. At the facility’s tourism center, one can try the stored distilled spirit for free.

- Fresh vegetables and specialty products can be purchased at the product shop in the Mimata Town Industrial Hall. A morning market called “Mimatan Ekimae-Yokamon Market” is also held in the parking lot on the fourth Sunday of every month and it is often used as a place for the locals to interact. Rental bicycles are also available and can be used for sightseeing in the area.

JR日豊線の都城駅の隣の駅が三股駅。そこにある三股町物産館よかもんやです。地元産の野菜、果物、米、肉製品、菓子など各種食品、園芸品などいろいろあり、道の駅によくある地元の産直市場ですが、ここは道の駅ではなく、JRの駅構内です。 駐車スペースはたくさんあるので、ドライブの方も気楽によることができます。

馬ケ背駐車場にある小さな売店です。コーヒーやソフトクリームのほか、ホットドッグやカレーライスなどの軽食もありました。特産の柑橘類「へべす」のソフトクリーム（300円）は、さわやかな甘さで美味でした。品数は少ないですがお土産も販売しています。

天皇誕生日の翌日ハナキンに訪問。道の駅というか一般的なお土産店。本来は周囲のミュージアムを訪問予定でしたが、祝日の翌日は休館の模様。神話の里にあるまじき神対応というか塩対応。はな、はな、はな、と萎えること必定。大喝！です。

天ケ城公園山頂のレストラン・土産屋です。朝だからか、レストランは開いてませんでした。だご汁やチキン南蛮など、宮崎グルメも味わえるようです。土産屋には、高岡名物・文旦を使ったアイス300円のほか、青島ういろう（500円、5切れのバラ売りは250円）など、県内各地の名物が売っていました。
