    A public bathhouse located close to JR Naruko-Onsen Station. The facility's name is derived from the fact that the bath waters come from a spring source discovered by seven Waseda students who dug here in 1948. The building was originally wooden but was rebuilt in 1998 and reborn with an avant-garde design by the laboratory of Osamu Ishiyama in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University. The entire building is undressed yellow concrete and the bathhouse can be turned into a stage and seating area by rearranging a part of the gallery. The bathhouse's waters come from a sodium sulfate chloride spring and hypotonic pH neutral high temperature spring, and the baths promote healing from injury.

    鳴子温泉の温泉街にある共同浴場。鳴子温泉駅から徒歩5分ほど。黄色いコンクリート造りの建物です。脱衣場も浴室も広いです。滝の湯に比べると人も少なめ。ゆっくり入浴するにはいい。泉質じたいはあまり特色なし。浴槽が3つあり、一番左が深めの浴槽です。入浴料は550円とやや高め。

    This is a day-use hot spring bath resort in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. It derives its name from the 1000 cherries that blossom on Mt. Kagobo of Tajiri. In addition to the main bath and waterfall bath, which draw their waters directly from the source, there is a Finnish style sauna to enjoy. The outdoor bath is the largest in the prefecture, and can be enjoyed sitting, half-sitting or even reclining The restaurant offers over 40 dishes at all times and the beer and soft cream is especially enjoyable after a hot bath. One can also relax in the rest area where zabuton cushions are available for guests.

    週末の夜に訪れましたが、賑わっていました。ただ、温泉も建物もゆったりとした作りなので混んでいる印象は受けませんでした。 温度の違う風呂が中と外にそれぞれありました。寒い日だったので、暖かい風呂がうれしかったです。

    A 40 minute drive from the Taiwa and Furukawa interchanges on the Tohoku Expressway. A day trip hot spring bathhouse situated at the foot of Mt. Yakurai, a symbol of Kami Town. The area is blessed with an abundance of natural beauty and visitors can enjoy the stunningly clear air and changing seasons. In the bathhouse' popular outdoor bath, customers can take in the sight of Mt. Yakurai and surrounding scenery during the day and, at night, the moon and star filled sky. Other bathhouse facilities include a spacious indoor bath area, a sauna, and private reservable family bath, as well as a banquet hall which can be used for free. The waters of the bathhouse' sodium-calcium chloride spring are said to treat such ailments as cuts, burns, and chronic skin diseases.

    エンジョイパークで遊んだ帰りに寄りました。日曜日だったこともあり駐車場はいっぱいでした。停めるのに苦労するかもしれません。 施設内はひろく、ロビー・食事処、お風呂、和室の休憩室があります。貸切風呂もあります。お風呂は広く、露天もあります。 ロビーではお土産がたくさん売っています。子供の遊ぶスペースもあり。 くつのロッカー、脱衣所のロッカーともに（使用後返却されますが）100円かかります。

Nonodake commanding a view of the vast Sendai Plain and Mt. Kurikoma, constantly replenishes its tubs ""kakenagashi"" style from a source spring. The bathhouse has two bathing areas with different atmospheres - one Western style and one Japanese style - and which is the men's and which the women's alternates on a daily basis. The bathhouse makes use of two hot springs, the first a hypotonic alkaline cold mineral spring with superb skin beautifying properties, and the second a highly moisturizing sodium chloride sulfate spring/hypertonic neutral spring, and bathing in their waters in this order is the secret to maximizing their beneficial effects.     涌谷町の北東高台にあります。建物内には、産直センターもあり、涌谷産の新鮮な野菜等を購入できます。お風呂は洋風と和風と二種類あり、男湯女湯日替わりみたいなので、続けて行くと２タイプ楽しめます。入浴料金は、大人600円です。

    "A 3-minute drive from the Sanbongi Smart interchange and a 15 minute drive from the Furukawa and Taiwa interchanges. At this day trip hot spring bathhouse, you can take in a meal, have a banquet, or enjoy services such as massages. Notably, the bathhouse constantly replenishes its tubs ""kakenagashi"" style from a source spring, and even the hot water from the showers comes from the spring. The waters of the bathhouse' mildly alkaline spring are almost completely odorless and tasteless and are said to treat a wide variety of ailments, including fatigue, muscle pain, gastrointestinal disorders, spinal diseases, and bruises. In addition to a large indoor bath and outdoor bath, the bathhouse has a hot spring bath for dogs and a private reservable bath.     日帰り温泉施設にある、休憩できる広間と一体になった食事処です。地元の人たち向けのようなので、特に地元感を出しためにはありません。味もまあ、普通です。この普通が地元の人には良いのでしょう。日常で使う温泉としては十分でした。

    中山平温泉駅から徒歩で10分ちょっと。 それほど大きな施設ではなく浴槽もひとつだけですが、源泉かけ流しの温泉が楽しめます。 温泉はやや温度高め、白濁して硫黄臭がします。 いかにも効きそうな温泉。 裏山の源泉からは温泉を適度に冷ますために長い木樋が架けられていて、なかなか風情がある景色を浴場から見ることができます。

    洗い場は６つしかないあまり大きくない温泉でしたが、たっぷりの掛け流し温泉なのでお湯が綺麗です。しかも、お湯がトロッとしてて気持ちが良く、上がった後も温かさが残ってて最高でした。 湯船は広いので贅沢な温泉です。 そして、館内の床が気持ちが良いんです。気の温もりを感じれて癒しの空間です。

    This hot spring district, one of several comprising the Naruko Onsenkyo hot spring village, has been counted as one of the Three Famous Springs of Ohsyu Province since ancient times. Of the five hot springs which make up the village, this one is the largest and encompasses traditional as well as modern hot spring lodging facilities and restaurants. There are two public bathhouses in the district-the Taki no Yu and the Waseda Sajikiyu-as well as 19 lodging facilities with bathhouses. Each operates at least one private source spring, and six different varieties of source springs are found in the area. Naruko was the first area in Japan to create kokeshi wooden dolls, and travelers are encouraged to make their way to the Japan Kokeshi Museum located here as well. Museum visitors can watch demonstrations of skilled artisans making kokeshi using a foot-powered lathe, try painting their own kokeshi, and see exhibits displaying kokeshi spanning 11 different styles from six prefectures in the Tohoku region. The district is surrounded by abundant natural beauty, such as Katanuma Marsh, a lake formed by a volcanic eruption 1,200 years ago and one of the most acidic lakes in Japan. The colors of the lake's waters famously change color depending on the time of year.
