    This coffee shop is found inside the station building of Mokoto Station, a wooden, unmanned station built in the Taisho period. The shop was once an old station office and inside you can find railway items of the time when it was a manned station, such as the station master’s hat, ticket box, and an old potbellied stove, etc. On the menu are dishes such as Ryuhyo (pack-ice) Ramen, made with plenty of seafood like Hokkai shrimp, and good old-fashioned curry, etc. Seeing as the shop was also used as a movie location it’s also a very popular spot for couples going out on a date!

    This log house cafe, standing quietly in a white birch forest in Abashiri City, Hokkaido, is surrounded by majestic nature, has the charm of a hideout-like atmosphere. Their signature dish is omelet and rice, full of seafood and milk. The wonderful taste comes from the sweet cream sauce made from Abashiri milk. The sweets menu such as handmade pumpkin pudding and sweet red bean rolls made using French bread dough is also popular. Enjoy dishes that warm your body and soul by the warmth of the wood stove.
