    Fishermen Cuisine North Ryoba is a restaurant occupying three stalls in the crab market adjacent to the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market in Sapporo City, Hokkaido, that specializes in “Yanshu” (“Fishermen”) cuisine. The house special is Kaisen Don (a bowl of rice topped with seafood), made with fresh fish and seafood delivered directly from the market and Hokkaido-grown rice; the restaurant offers more than 30 different varieties of Don, besides a comprehensive range of other fishermen’s cuisine delicacies evocative of the seas off Hokkaido, including rice-balls, sashimi, Red King Crab and broiled Okhotsk Atka Mackerel. Yanshu’s Japanese Green Sea Urchin, with its rich, melt-in-the-mouth, sweet flavor, is also very popular, whether grilled or eaten with rice as a Don dish.

    The seafood is so fresh I’ve no complaints. Got to eat a slice of rock melon at 400yen. And tasted a grilled sweet corn. All good. On top of a whole king crab 1kg 6000yen.

    A branch of a sushi restaurant whose primary location is in Sapporo's Susukino entertainment district situated on the third floor of Akarenga Terrace mall a five minute walk from JR Sapporo Station. Based on the motto of high goals and low thresholds, the restaurant serves sushi crafted by skilled artisans using select seasonal ingredients together with sincere hospitality. The restaurant's nigiri sushi and maki sushi rolls can be ordered starting from just a single piece. The restaurant's money-saving lunch sets, such as a nigiri sushi set with a mini salad, miso soup, and chawanmushi savory custard, are also popular. The restaurant has a large selection of sakes as well as wines, and diners are encouraged to experience the marriage of sushi and wine. Takeout available.

    This sushi restaurant moved to Maruyama in 2012 after operating inside a hotel in Sapporo for 10 years. One of the popular ala carte menu items is the defatted Whale Bacon with a slightly salty taste that brings out the meat flavor. Here, sushi with a little more care and effort is served with carefully prepared pieces such as the northern shrimp and flounder marinated in konbu kelp. The lunch menu includes set-menu dishes that come with salad, soup, and dessert.

    This sushi restaurant is on the first floor of the Sapporo Clock Tower Building. In addition to counter seats that young people, women and those returning from work can feel free to use to enjoy sushi, there are also convenient table seats and horigotatsu (dug out) seats where you can relax. Also, they purchase fresh fish every day from the port in order to prevent price increases, and their sushi uses good portions of ingredients that take advantage of their flavor. The two-tiered lunch boxes, only available at the Tokeidai store, is highly recommended. It is a bargain set menu item with eight pieces of sushi, a mini side of soba and chirashi scattered sushi, onion salad and three kinds of amuse bouche. Their homemade fried fish balls go great with alcohol.

    テレビ北海道＜ＴＶＨ、テレビ東京系列＞の土曜日夕方の番組でランチ寿司を取り上げられたことから、その2日後の月曜日のお昼は満席でした。このお店は前回訪問時は白身といったイメージでしたが、今回は写真の通り、きれいな仕上がりとなっています。

    イオン桑園店の1階にある店舗で店頭販売が中心の店でした。 店頭販売の端っこに小さな椅子が4席あってそこで握ってもらった寿司を食べることができます。 ゆっくりできない作りでした。
