    Sushimaru Honten in Niban-cho, Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture is a Japanese cuisine restaurant which established in 1948. It is a well-known restaurant where you can enjoy local cuisine, mainly sushi, using fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. At lunch time, sushi main Sushi-tempurazen and Kotobukizen are popular. It boasts a range of elaborate dishes including Taimeshi (Hyugameshi) which it is said the Iyo navy originally started eating on board ship, Taisomen for which a whole sea bream decorates five-colored somen noodles as well as kaiseki ryori (a sophisticated Japanese multi-course meal) which can be used for group dinners and memorial services.

    コースをネット予約でき便利です。サービスも料理もとてもよかったです。 日本酒も種類が豊富でお勧めは皆美味しかったです。 1月にとてもよかったので、2月も来店しました。また訪れたいと思います。

    たまに昼のランチでお邪魔していましたが、今回は夜に来店。握りも突き出しもとても美味しく満足させていただきました。またゆっくり友人と行きたいと思います。

    お寿司は美味しいのですが、カウンターの前にあるテレビがうるさくて残念でした。大将の髪型も、モダンすぎて店の雰囲気とはアンマッチでした。高級な寿司屋ならちゃんとしてほしいです。

    入り口は少し分かりづらいかな？でも入ってみると清潔感もあり、個室という訳でもないけれど、落ち着いた雰囲気があり、敷居の高くない気取らないお寿司屋さんという感じで、ビジネスにも充分に利用できると思います。

    松山の寿司は愛媛の地酒でいただくと、また一層おいしさが際立ちます。店はこじんまりとして、その分落ち着いて飲食ができました。奇をてらわない基本に沿ったおいしい寿司でした。

Stretched across the northwest corner of Shikoku island, Ehime is a nature-rich prefecture boasting beautiful coastlines and a rural center where mountains play host to 26 of the Buddhist temples that make up the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Matsuyama is home to an original post-feudal castle as well as Dogo Onsen, one of the country’s oldest natural hot springs. The northern city of Imabari marks the entrance to the Shimano Kaido, a road that crosses six spectacular bridges and several islands, forming a route between Shikoku and mainland Honshu.
