    This drive-in area is located along Prefectural Road 27 in Nishikarube, Akaiwa City. Besides a restaurant and banquet hall offering menu items such as seasonal courses, special chanpon (hearty noodle dish with pork, seafood and vegetables) and the Okayama specialty of demiglace pork cutlet rice bowls, there is a shopping center with Okayama specialty products such as seasonal fruits, and the “Pan no Yakata” that sells freshly baked bread.

    建物は大きいですが、大部分は団体向けの宴会場です。 団体でない方が食事するスペースは、土産屋が隣接しており、横を団体がうろうろしており、落ち着いて食事することはできないかも。 お値段・味はまぁまぁです。

    This drive-in restaurant is on National Route 156, about seven minutes from the Gujo-Hachiman Interchange on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway. The building features Italian, Chinese, and Japanese restaurants. They have Chitora and Aioi seated dining areas, and their Yoshino tatami mat banquet hall for groups is the largest in Gujo City, accommodating about 450 guests. They serve dishes like steak grilled on a magnolia leaf, their Manpuku Japanese style set meal with large portions of Gujo keichan chicken and a kishimen noodle hot pot, and their Nagara River Japanese style set meal with an assortment of high quality grilled salted sweetfish, an earthenware mixed grill, and sashimi.

    バスツアーで郡上八幡には、2度来ているが、今回、ホテル郡上八幡ないのレストラン大滝苑で、初めて食事する。団体用の食事ですが、山の幸が満載の料理でした。

The station's market sells fresh ingredients and prepared foods, and is divided into various areas such as a produce area and seafood area; it also has an abundant selection of local alcoholic beverages, making this a great place to visit when looking for souvenirs.

    This rest stop is located along the Koya-Ryujin Skyline at an altitude of 1040 meters. The rest stop features a garden planted with more than 3,500 hydrangeas and a photogenic background of coniferous trees and mountain ranges. The best time to view the hydrangeas is from mid-July to early August, which is later than in the lowlands. The rest stop has much to offer in terms of seasonal scenery including the one thousand rhododendrons that bloom in the spring and the red fall foliage. Fall visitors can also see one of the Top 100 Sunsets of Wakayama Prefecture. The rest stop's restaurant serves characteristic local dishes such as seasonal wild plants, amago-meshi (rice cooked with red-spotted masu trout), and matsutake mushroom dishes, a seasonal exclusive. The rest stop also sells local specialties such as Japanese umbrella-pine and yakiyogomi (toasted mugwort dumplings).

    This drive-in minshuku lodge is near Lake Suwa in Okaya City, Nagano Prefecture. They operate a domed boat where you can fish for Japanese pond smelt between October to March. They also have other fishing plans where they provide you with all the equipment you need. Its parking lot can accommodate large buses too, making it popular with visitors sightseeing around Lake Suwa.

    12月下旬、ドーム船でのワカサギ釣り体験で訪れました。釣り道具など一式貸してくれるので、手ぶらでワカサギ釣りができる手軽感が最高です!

    A rest stop facing National Route 141 which has long been a favored place to take a break for drivers in the area. The rest stop has a Nagano souvenir shop and a shop selling Nozawana coleseed green pickles produced in the adjoining in-house factory, and many tourists come here seeking souvenirs. The rest stop's restaurant serves a wide selection of dishes including donburi rice bowls, shoyu (soy sauce) ramen, and Shinshu soba noodles.

    昨今は道の駅に押されドライブインの肩身もせまくなりました。さて、内容としてはそのまんま昔ながらのドライブインと言った感じ。地場の名産として野沢菜はやはりうまかった。

The drive-in sells food and souvenirs, and also has free parking. The restaurant's Maitake Kamameshi and Maitake Gohan dishes, made with the local specialty Maitake mushrooms are very popular. There is also a direct sales center for Oigami Maitake Farm, which has plenty of fresh Maitake mushrooms for sale. The drive-in is fully-stocked with local signature products, such as The Emperor's Kuriyokan, Highland scarlet runner beans and Joshu's local sake, among others.

    This drive-in is located on Usui Pass (Entrance C4), the old National Route 18, which connects Gunma Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture. Its specialty confectionary, Sadamitsu no Chikara Mochi was the reward for young samurai when they ran the Ansei Toashi, which is said to be Japan's oldest marathon. Even now, it is handmade with the same recipe used 1,200 years ago. In addition to Koshi An which can be bought to take away, customers can also eat Karami Mochi, Goma Mochi and Kinako Mochi in the shop here.     A large rest stop, one of the largest in Kagoshima. The facility’s distinctive sign is decorated with a large Sakurajima daikon radish statue. The first floor of the facility is a market where visitors can purchase shochu liquor and other Sakurajima specialty products. In the second-floor restaurant, you can enjoy a meal along with a view of the magnificent, mountainous landscape of Sakurajima. Visitors can also view the volcano from the facility’s observatory, and there’s even a space for taking a commemorative photo.

    This tourist rest stop is located near Meotoiwa Rock, one of Sado's most picturesque sites. The onsite restaurant serves up a wide variety of cuisine that makes good use of fresh Sado seafood, as well as beautiful views of the Nanaura Coast. Visitors can also tour the nearby Salt Factory Sado Kaza Shiogama, a producer of Sado's famous traditional salt, and even try making salt themselves. The Tansu Museum located at the rest stop exhibits a number of valuable examples of the Japanese art of cabinetry, including funa-dansu (sea chests) and ogi-dansu (cabinets from Ogi on Sado) used to load kitamaebune (merchant ships in the Edo period), as well as Hachiman-dansu (Hachiman-style cabinets) which originated in the mid-Edo period.
