Tamaya Drive-In
This drive-in is located on Usui Pass (Entrance C4), the old National Route 18, which connects Gunma Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture. Its specialty confectionary, Sadamitsu no Chikara Mochi was the reward for young samurai when they ran the Ansei Toashi, which is said to be Japan's oldest marathon. Even now, it is handmade with the same recipe used 1,200 years ago. In addition to Koshi An which can be bought to take away, customers can also eat Karami Mochi, Goma Mochi and Kinako Mochi in the shop here. There are also magazines, photographs and videos etc. of the Abt system railroad for customers to view.
