"This farmers market bears a sign which states that it is the most difficult to find restaurant and farmers market in Japan. Located in the Takachiho Gamadase Market, the facility consists of a restaurant, tourist information center, and farmers market. ""Gamadase"" means ""to work spiritedly"" in the local dialect. The market's wide selection includes farm-fresh produce from Takachiho, and foods made with Takachiho specialty products. A large number of signs with recipes written on them have been hung in the local vegetable area. The carefully written recipes were created by the staff to help people learn local ways of preparing these vegetables."

Ibaraki grows the greatest quantity of melons in Japan, and, when in season, visitors to the market will find varieties such as Andes Melons and Quincy Melons sold at low prices. This souvenir shop is just a little way off of Route 167 in Shima City, Mie Prefecture. They offer an enormous variety of specialty items including Ise tea, Matsusaka beef, Ise shrimp crackers, pearl oyster crackers boxed as souvenirs, Jingu-no-Kakehashi cheese cake sticks made with Ise tea, and natural seaweed from Iseshima including hijiki, wakame, and mekabu. You can also try soft-serve ice cream made with green algae, freshly fried tempura, Maruten isoage (fried seafood cake skewers), and more.

伊勢志摩旅行の際にランチで立ち寄りました。その日のオススメだったマグロ丼をいただきました。肉厚でプリプリ感もありとても美味しかったです！あおさのお味噌汁も良い出汁が出で美味しかったです。屋台ではウツボの素揚げやあおさソフトクリームなども堪能しました。充実したランチタイムを過ごすことができました。また行きたいです‼︎！

They sell a variety of morning-fresh vegetables and fruit, as well as hand-made deli dishes, processed foods, and more. The mochi made with Sakata Mezuru mochi-rice, and jams and juices made from Shonai-grown fruit, are all quite popular. They hold a variety of seasonal events, as well, like the Cherry Fair in June.

農産物の直売所です。新米の時期で、つや姫をかいたかったのですが売り場に無くなっており玄米だけだったのでその場で2袋分を精米してくれました。すごく親切です。精米したてはとてもおいしく違うよーと言っていたので楽しみです。何年か前にもう少し遅い時期に来た時には酒田に位置するここでもラフランスも売っていました。

Located in the Unoshima Fishing Port, on the first floor the establishment sells fresh, seasonal fish delivered direct by the fishermen themselves. The establishment has a fish preserve and visitors can see the seafood swimming vigorously within. In the second-floor restaurant, customers can enjoy sashimi and other fresh, seasonal seafood delights. "This is a farmers' market that sells local agricultural products, an 11-minute drive from JR Hikigawa Station. Because of careful management of production records, customers can buy safe and reliable fresh fruits and vegetables at low prices. In addition to fresh foods, the market also sells processed foods, such as dried pickled plums, pickled radishes, and saury sushi. The growers and producers work the cash register every day, so that customers can speak directly with them and learn about ways to cook exoic vegetables and other market products. About ten times a year, the market holds a ""customer appreciation day,"" offering free treats, such as rice porridge or zenzai (red bean soup made with azuki beans) as well as new rice or other crops."
