    This direct sales store sells local specialty products. The marker for this store is a billboard with a treasure ship ridden by a cow and fish. As their name suggests, they carry a rich variety of both food from the mountains such as shiitake mushrooms, dairy products and vegetables from Ouchiyama, and seafood from Nishiki. In particular, the Ouchiyama brand of dairy products is popular not just for their milk but also their yogurt and soft pudding. The store is a participating member of the Mie Prefecture bargain service Mie Shokutabi Passport.

Classes to experience making bread and sausages are available with reservations. You can enjoy barbecued dishes and set meals centered on sausages and pork at the barbecue house. Local rice and takoyaki octopus balls are also sold in an adjoining building.

    豊橋に行ったので噂のブラックサンダーの直売店に寄ってきました。大通りから田舎道を走るので、道に迷ったのかと途中で心配になってしまいました。いろいろな種類のブラックサンダーがあり、試食できるのはいいですがわざわざ行くほど安くはないかな。

    土肥温泉の観光案内所の近くにある直売所です。一般的なコンビニより狭いスペースしかないので、品数はさほど多くありません。菓子類はなく、お土産になりそうなものはジャムや干物など。その中で一番多いのが地元で採れた新鮮野菜。なので店内は観光客より地元の方が多く、スーパー代わりになっているようです。

    土曜日の11時ごろに行きました。夏野菜を色々と買いたかったのですが、トマトなどは全然なくて、少し残念。空っぽの陳列台もあったので、もう少し朝早くに行った方がよかったかなと思いました。きゅうりやナス、ゴーヤなどは良心的な価格で(特に今は野菜が高いので…)、ありがたく購入しました。お昼は産直野菜を使ったバイキングもやっているようなので、また行って試してみたいと思います。

Their food court features items like gelato, soft serve cream, rice balls, and curry made with fine ingredients. Take-out is also available.

    今年も訪ねた『めっけもん広場』お目当ての 桃は連休明けか?訪ねるのが遅い?かも知れないが、、平日午前にも拘わらず駐車待ちで時間も取られるほどの人出でで賑わっており、桃の品数も少なく確保待ちの人気でした。でも荒川の桃、買わなきゃ損の 『めっけもん広場』です。これから葡萄、柿、ミカンと紀の川詣でが始まりです。

The hall's souvenir shop sells wild wakame seaweed, turban shell, and dried fish from seafood island; seasonings and condiments from a long-standing soy sauce maker; and more, attracting large numbers of customers.

    土産物の販売に加えて海鮮食堂『玄海源蔵』が併設されており、昼飯を頂く事にしました。名物はサザエ丼とのことで他にイカ丼やカンパチ丼などがありますが、なぜか福岡で輸入サーモンが幅を利かせていたのはご愛敬でしょうか?結局ごぼ天うどんにいか明太丼(ミニ)という博多名物オンパレードのセットを頂きました。あまり海鮮物に期待し過ぎるとガッカリするかもしれません。
