This bathhouse, located a five-minute drive from Miyoshi Station, is one of the largest in Kumamoto Prefecture. The bathhouse has 13 special baths supplied by a sodium chloride hydrogen carbonate spring whose waters are said to beautify the skin. These waters are also said to keep the body warm long after one's bath and treat nerve pain and women's diseases, making them highly popular with women. Other facilities include an indoor heated pool open year round, a pottery studio with ceramics arts classes, a restaurant, and a 182 square meter rest lounge, and customers can relax in the bathhouse' vast confines. The bathhouse' local specialty products market sells fresh, locally grown vegetables.

ちょうど訪れた日が20日で200円で温泉にはいることができました。靴のロッカーは100円で後で返金でしたが、更衣室のものは10円で返金なしでした。ジャクジーが足裏のマッサージができるのが気持ちよかったです。露天風呂もありました。秋で涼しくなっていたので水風呂はやめておきました。風呂上がりに炭酸水を凍らせた氷を300円で売っていたので帰りの車の中で口にしました。意外にいけるものでした。

５年ぶりに再訪しました。温泉は加温していますがかけ流しの気持ちイイ湯でした。つるりとする無色透明の温泉です。露天風呂には亀さんが待っています。泉質はナトリウム-炭酸水素塩温泉です。

The bathhouse is replete with 13 private family baths, including a lie down bath, Shigaraki ware porcelain bath, boulder bath, and universal design welfare bath, as well as one general bath for men and women each. In addition to the baths themselves, the bathhouse' showers notably make use of the water of a sodium-hydrogen carbonate chloride spring. The bathhouse does not recirculate or reheat the water whatsoever. The bathhouse also provides free rentals of baby beds and toys which can be used in the baths for users of the family baths.

The bathhouse is famously the only public bathhouse in Yamaga City with a sauna and outdoor bath. The bathhouse' name means ""bath of a thousand years"" and was chosen out of the hope that customers would always be healthy and live long lives. The bathhouse' waters have a nice feel and are said to treat a wide variety of ailments, including nerve pain, muscle soreness, motor paralysis, and recovery from fatigue. This Shinto shrine is approximately 15 minutes by car from both Ueki Interchange and Kikusui Interchange. Located just south of Omiya Park, it honors Emperor Keiko, the 12th emperor of Japan, who in his deified form is thought to be the guardian spirit of Yamaga district. The shrine was constructed on the site of the Imperial lodging used when the Emperor's entourage visited the area. Yamaga paper lanterns, a traditional handicraft made with just washi Japanese paper and glue, are said to have first been made to welcome him. The shrine gets packed with visitors during the lantern festival that's held on August 15 and 16 every year, which features ritual dancing, a torch procession, and a fireworks display.
