Nagasaki Sasebo-shi Huis Ten Bosch machi 1-1
This restaurant is located on the floor of Tower City in the popular Sasebo amusement park Huis Ten Bosch a 10-minute drive from the Sasebo-Daito Interchange and 25 minutes from the Higashisonogi Interchange. The restaurant specializes in steaks and hamburg steaks. The restaurant's lemon steak, a famous local Sasebo dish, is crafted with particular attention, and, as its name implies, is made with lemon juice, giving it a light, refreshing flavor. The restaurant's cheese fondue, which comes with a delightful, specially made cheese sauce, is also recommended. Customers can also savor a variety of other Japanese and Western-inspired dishes as well as hamburg steaks made with domestic ingredients.

Recommend this place to anyone going to Sasebo. Great meal, but I have to say I did not have a bad meal at any of the many restaurants I went to, and I did not go to the same place twice.

Nagasaki Areas

around-area-map

This hidden corner of the country is rural Japan at its best, where underground activity is to thank for active volcanoes and bubbling natural hot springs along the Shimabara Peninsula as well as the crystal clear waters of the Goto Islands off the west coast. Less well known than Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park, Nagasaki commemorates its own past at the Nagasaki Peace Park, which sits alongside the charming Meganebashi stone bridge and a mix of religious buildings with beautiful architecture, such as the Zen Buddhist Sofukuji Temple, the Confucian Shrine, and the Oura Christian Church.
