    Choshikei Gorge is one of Shodoshima Island's top scenic areas, in the same league as Kankakei Gorge. You can encounter more than 500 monkeys that inhabit the valley at their Monkey Park and try feeding them under the caretaker's watchful gaze. There's a lookout above the gorge with a 360-degree view.

    お猿の国ということで、もしかするとちょっと凶暴なお猿がいるのでは？と警戒していたのだけど、ちょうど子猿が生まれる時期でもあり、母猿にベッタリの子猿がとてもかわいかった。観光客に餌をおねだりして離さないお猿がいて笑ってしまいました。かわいいお猿たちに癒された！ちゃんとルールを守れば、とっても楽しい滞在になると思います。
