This health promotion facility is in Yakumo Town, surrounded by the rural Satoyama landscape. As Matsue's leading Kurhaus facility, it has a pool, spa, training gym, and sports studio. The facility uses hot spring water, making it popular as a year-round swimming spot. There are 25 meter pool with three courses and a water slide, so it's a hit with kids. The huge Jacuzzi and double-deck sauna offer a place to relax after your swim as well. They also have a full program of training sessions to meet a variety of individual physical needs.

Shimane Areas

around-area-map

What Shimane prefecture lacks in size and population, it makes up for in scenery and ancient mythology. Izumo-taisha, in the middle of the prefecture, is said to be Japan’s oldest Shinto shrine, where stories that delve into the creation of the Japanese race have been passed down over centuries. The 180 Oki Islands, a 40-minute ferry ride north of Sakaiminato, offer an undiscovered paradise well off the beaten track.
