    Osaka Osakashi Kita-ku Tenjimbashi 2-1-34
    An entertainment hall dedicated to rakugo traditional comedic storytelling which opened in 2006 and the only dedicated rakugo facility in the Osaka-Kyoto area. Rakugo masters belonging to the Kamigata Rakugo Association perform daily. The matinee program changes weekly while the evening show changes daily. The theater seats up to 216 and attendees can enjoy the performances of young newcomers and veterans up close and personal. The theater also provides “yose” variety shows featuring magicians and manzai comedy duos. Outside, the theater is decorated with a red rickshaw, a recreation of the one used by Katsura Harudanji I, and this has become a popular spot for taking commemorative photos. The closest station is Minamimorimachi Station.

    An underground shopping mall connected directly to Umeda Station and Higashi-Umeda Station in Komatsubara-cho, Kita Ward, Osaka City. The mall first opened in 1963. Stretching north, south, and east from Umeda Station, the mall is occupied by around 190 establishments, including restaurants, fashionable apparel shops, and boutiques.

    Whity Mall-old name Fountain Mall had a renovation and it was new now. No more fountain but it was a lot newer.

    Osaka Osakashi Kita-ku Tenjimbashi
    This covered shopping street is centered on the road approaching Osaka Tenmangu Shrine. Running north to south for 2.6 kilometers from Tenjinbashi 1-chome to Tenjinbashi 6-chome, it is famous as Japan's longest shopping street. There are approx. 600 stores along the street. During the Edo period (1603-1868), the Tenman vegetable market was located nearby, and the street developed around the market as the main approach to the shrine. Many events are held centered on the shrine to this day. The stores sell everything from clothing to food, and include cafes, restaurants and izakaya bars.

Besides fashion boutiques, there is also the “Ufufu Girls” floor for young women, and large branches of the Uniqlo and Tokyu Hands retail chains. The Pokemon Center Osaka and Tomica Shop are located on the 13th floor, with restaurants and cafes on the 14th floor.

    This is a shopping mall directly connected to the Keihan Electric Railway Kyobashi Station. In 1990, the hotel Keihan Kyobashi was opened in the building, and established an apparel, food and lifestyle shopping complex. There are approximately 150 stores located from the basement to the seventh floor which include fashion stores, stores that sell household goods, cafe restaurants, and food products with an atmosphere inviting customers to casually drop in. Access to the shopping complex from the JR Station and subway is convenient and it is the perfect spot to take a break or spend time waiting for a train. There is also a spacious nursing room with a bench sofa and a wash basin for parents with small children.

    This is a suburban mall which provides for basic needs. Not a must visit but it has a big uniqlo store so it is worthwhile to go there if you are after some uniqlo stuff. First floor has a starbucks...

There are several plazas as well, making it convenient for meeting up or taking a break.

    This Ferris wheel is located on the 7th floor of HEP FIVE, a four-minute walk from JR Osaka Station. The red Ferris wheel is a symbol of HEP FIVE and when the weather is fine visitors are able to see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Mt. Ikoma. It takes about 15 minutes to go around and the 360 degrees panoramic view is a must-see. At night the view of the twinkling neon lights of high-rise buildings creates a romantic atmosphere. The Ferris wheel cars are air conditioned and recommended scenic spots are in the inside the car, making it fun to look for from about 106 meters high in the sky. Visitors can also save their memories with a photo service for a fee.

It runs westward one street south of Amerika-mura Triangle Park. The 800-meter long street is lined with photogenic stores popular with young people such as cafes, boutiques, accessory shops, imported furniture stores and interior design shops. The neighborhood flourished as a furniture district from around the last days of the Tokugawa shogunate (1853-1867), and since there are traditional Japanese furniture dealers that have continued to operate since before World War II even now, it is a charming area with a mixture of old and new.

Along the park, besides Japan's first gas lamps and retro brick buildings such as one that houses a mint, there is also a water plaza and promenade, making it an ideal place for relaxing strolls.     A three-minute walk from Minami-Morimachi Station on the Tanimachi Line and Sakaisuji Line subways as well as JR Osaka-Temmangu Station. This Shinto shrine is located just off the Hanshin Expressway Loop Route Kitahama exit and is known to locals as the Horikawa-no-Ebessan. The shrine is dedicated to Hiruko. The shrine is believed to grant worshippers business prosperity. The shrine is famous for its Toka Ebisu Festival held from January 9th through 11th each year. During the three days of the festival, the grounds bustle with tens of thousands of visitors. The festival continues into the night, during which time the approach to the shrine and its grounds are lit up with lanterns and the festival shopping arcade becomes filled with fun night stalls. Enoki Shrine, the shrine's auxiliary shrine, is also known as Danjiri Inari Shrine.

    This park is located just past Tosabori Road, south of Umeda, Osaka. The park is split into two parts, east and west, across Naniwa-suji Street, with rows of Zolkova trees and a rose garden on the east side, and Utsubo Tennis Center on the west side, which hosts international tennis competitions. The rose garden is the oldest in Osaka City, and 3,400 roses are planted there, with 170 different varieties. The garden is used, not only for people to visit, but also doubles as a wedding venue. Every year, in mid-May, when the roses are in bloom, the Rose Festa is held here, drawing a great many visitors.

    Negiyaki (green onion pancake) Yamamoto Umeda EST Branch, established in Jyuso, Higashiyodogawa Ward in 1965, is a famous restaurant as the birthplace of the negiyaki (spring onion pancake). The staff meals that the owner made for children became famous and the negiyaki, an okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) with plenty of spring onions, has become the signature dish. A popular menu item is sujinegi with beef sinew and konjac paste. It goes well with the special soy-based sauce. The restaurant is located in the corner of “EST”, a shopping complex, and is known as a restaurant where there is a queue. The closest station is Umeda Station.
