"A small sake brewery standing in an urban area close to the Inari-machi Intersection on the National Route 249 in Wajima City. Advocating sake production with a focus on the local area using Noto rice, water, and manpower, because of this stance, the brewery is uninterested in increasing its production volume of 100 ""koku"" (18,000 liters). The brewery has been making sake since 1868 and has won numerous awards in new sake brew tasting competitions. The brewery crafts a variety of sakes, its most well-known brands being the Noto Suehiro and Noto no Kuni daiginjo sakes, and the junmai ginjo Oyaji no Tezukuri. The brewery is also constantly creating new sakes, such as Hana Oboro, a nigori unrefined sake produced using a red seishu refined sake yeast."

Ishikawa Areas

around-area-map

Long, thin Ishikawa prefecture runs along the Sea of Japan up into Noto Peninsula. Highlights of the seaside towns lining the west coast include Kanazawa, often described as a "Little Kyoto" thanks to its old wooden tea houses and geisha culture as well as its picturesque Japanese garden, Kenroku-en.
