    This park is located in Midori Ward, Sagami City. Because the park is along the banks of Lake Sagami, one can enjoy the beauty of the lake as well as the changing scenery each season. Water activities such as canoeing, boating and fishing can be enjoyed here as well. Every year the lake is bustling with visitors in April for the Yamanami Festival, and in August for the Lake Sagami on the Lake Festival.

    Lake Shiroyama is an artificial lake created by the Motosawa Dam, which was built in conjunction with the Shiroyama Power Station. Walking paths circle the entire lake. Thanks to the beauty of its scenery, Lake Shiroyama has been selected as one of the top 50 bird watching spots in Kanagawa Prefecture and one of the 50 best parks in Kanagawa Prefecture, so visitors can observe wild birds or enjoy the scenery to their heart's content. The rest area offers a panoramic view of the lake and the city of Sagamihara.

    "A scenic park that opened in 1993. It's on a site that's been inhabited since the Jomon period over 6,000 years ago. Popular with the locals, until recently it had preserved its rural village atmosphere. In the center of the park there is a duck pond that's good for bird watching. It's surrounded by natural features like a sawtooth and konara oak forest, an ""insect forest,"" and a Japanese cedar and cypress forest. There are also four walking trails which are mainly used by the locals."

There is a wholesaler, a kids space, a square, and even a table for diaper-changing.

    This strawberry farm is in Koinaba, Isehara City. They cultivate strawberries using organic fertilizer, and you can enjoy strawberry-picking without a reservation (reservation required for groups) from January to May. There is also a wholesaler that sells vegetables and rice nearby.

    The largest barbecue area in the Kanto region is at the Sagami Lake Resort. You don't need to bring any food or barbecue equipment to enjoy a cookout. It's in the eastern part of the Pleasure Forest along the mountain slope, letting you spend time in the great outdoors. Their barbecue packages which handle everything from starting the fires to clean-up is popular with ladies' groups and families with children. Their weekend and holiday hearth-baked pizza making workshops also come recommended.

    2019年5月GWに利用しました。自分で炭をおこすのが大変かと思いましたが、前の人の種火がそのままにされていたので、それを活用し、簡単に火をおこせました。 焼きそばや肉を炭火で焼いて、小さい子供たちもとても楽しんでいました。

    Vacance Mura is a campground with recreational facilities located along the Doshigawa River in the town of Fujino in the city of Sagamihara. In addition to lodging facilities with showers, there is also a drive-in site where visitors may pitch their tents. A roofed barbecue area lies along the river, and visitors can barbecue the rainbow trout they have fished for or the fish they have caught by hand. Charcoal and food are for sale by appointment, and the fishing experience here is recommended even for beginners. Also available are ropes that visitors can use to swing like Tarzan and rafts for floating on the river.

    "If you're taking a bus from the Odakyu Line's Honatsugi Station's North Exit, Miyagase is the nearest bus stop. The ""Binzuru"" of the shop's name means ""for the benefit of everyone."" It also draws on Nagano's Binzuru Festival. The shop has an inviting wooden exterior and a cozy, relaxed, and friendly interior. They have a diverse menu including meat dishes like their Forest Pork Saute, course meals, salads, and desserts."

    仏果山へ山歩きした帰りにGマップで見て気になっていたので立ち寄りました。 犬同伴のエリアと靴を脱ぐエリアと別れています。面倒でしたが靴を脱ぎました。 地元産のポーク!とんかつ&みそ焼きを。スープ、ライス付き1400円ですが とにかく柔らかくて美味しかった。脂身も最高にとろとろです。あっという間に食べてしまいました。また食べに行きます。

    This two-story wooden workshop facility is in Tahara Furusato Park in the eastern part of Hadano City. It has a farm stand, a soba restaurant called Shinonome, a soba making workshop, and a factory for making pickled vegetables. A visit here provides the chance to enjoy ni-hachi soba noodles made with an 80/20 buckwheat flour/wheat flour mix that is fresh ground, fresh made, and fresh boiled. They make their noodles with spring water from the foot of Tanzawa mountains, that's been designated as one of the top 100 Famous Water. The instruction at their soba noodle making workshops is easy to follow, making it great for beginners. You can reach the facility by taking a bus from the Odakyu Line's Hadano Station to the Nakaniwa stop and walking about three minutes.

    This trout fishing facility is surrounded by nature. You can reach it by taking a bus from the north exit of the Odakyu Line's Isehara Station and walking 20 minutes from the final stop. There's no limit to the catch and they offer a convenient package that includes stream fishing with a barbecue. For beginners and families, they recommend fishing from the facility's pond where you can pay for your catch. There is also an area where kids can try grabbing trout by hand, as well as an open space for barbecues. They provide the gear and food (advance reservation required), so you don't have to bring anything. You can cook your catch there too.

    This pleasure cruise departs from the banks of Sagami Lake Park year-round. It's about an eight-minute walk from Sagamiko Station on the JR Chuo Line in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The Swan Maru does a 25-minute tour of Lake Sagami. It began operating in 1984 as the sister ship of the first swan shaped pleasure boat in Japan. Whatever the season you can relax onboard and take in Sagami Lake's surroundings. They rent swan shaped peddle boats, rowboats, and fishing boats too. They'll also let you borrow blankets and other items to keep you warm if needed, free of charge.

    This gravesite, that of late Muromachi period samurai commander Ota Dokan, is located on the grounds of Banryuzan Toshoin Temple in Kamikasuya, Isehara City. It has been designated by the city as a Cultural Property. It is said his remains were cremated at this temple, which he himself had revived, after he met his untimely death at the home of his lord, Uesugi Sadamasa, which is believed to have been located in nearby Kasuya. There is another grave of Ota Dokan at Daijiji Temple in nearby Shimokasuya, Isehara City.

    A nature park situated on a slope next to Okura Ridge, a mountain path leading up Mt. To. The park has a grass lawn and arbor which visitors can use to take a break; the park is also a great and easily accessible destination for a picnic or forest walk. The park is divided into five areas - the Kashiwa no Mori, Mizuki no Mori, Shide no Mori, Aburachan no Mori, and Sasachi no Mori. Each area is outfitted with walking paths and has beautiful fresh verdure in spring and fall foliage in autumn for visitors to take in. There's also a parking area about three kilometers away, making it easy to come here by car.

    This plum farm is located in Kawashiri, Midori Ward, Sagamihara City. Across the three-hectare plot, roughly 1,000 plum trees, primarily “Shirakaga”, are cultivated. During the “Motozawa Baien Festival” held to coincide with the blossoming season in March, events are held, such as selling of specialty products. In June, you can experience picking plum fruits.

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
