Tawara Furusato Folk House

Experience Hall / Accommodation Experience (Training) Facility
This two-story wooden workshop facility is in Tahara Furusato Park in the eastern part of Hadano City. It has a farm stand, a soba restaurant called Shinonome, a soba making workshop, and a factory for making pickled vegetables. A visit here provides the chance to enjoy ni-hachi soba noodles made with an 80/20 buckwheat flour/wheat flour mix that is fresh ground, fresh made, and fresh boiled. They make their noodles with spring water from the foot of Tanzawa mountains, that's been designated as one of the top 100 Famous Water. The instruction at their soba noodle making workshops is easy to follow, making it great for beginners. You can reach the facility by taking a bus from the Odakyu Line's Hadano Station to the Nakaniwa stop and walking about three minutes.
