Zama Yatoyama Park
"A scenic park that opened in 1993. It's on a site that's been inhabited since the Jomon period over 6,000 years ago. Popular with the locals, until recently it had preserved its rural village atmosphere. In the center of the park there is a duck pond that's good for bird watching. It's surrounded by natural features like a sawtooth and konara oak forest, an ""insect forest,"" and a Japanese cedar and cypress forest. There are also four walking trails which are mainly used by the locals."
