- A museum located a seven-minute walk from the Niijima Juumin Center on the east side of Niijima Island. The museum can be identified by its white, pyramidal top, which is even visible from airplanes and ships at sea. In addition to presenting the history and culture of Niijima Island, the museum displays items donated by village residents. There's also a diorama depicting bouke-ami pole net fishing, which was invented by someone from Niijima Island. In addition, the museum has information on sightseeing destinations on the island, making this a good first stop when visiting Niijima Island.

- A five-minute walk from Niijima Port. This museum is located right next to the Niijima 21 Create Center on the southwest side of Niijima Island, one of the Izu Islands. The museum is also adjoined by the Niijima Glass Art Center. The museum displays glass items created using Koga stone, a type of pumice which is only produced here on Niijima Island and Lipari Island in Italy. You can also see examples of glass art created by artists from around the world. The museum displays 40 of its around 80 pieces at any given time. The museum shop on the first floor also sells Niijima glass perfect for giving as a souvenir.

- Tokyo Niijimamura Shikinejima 11-1
- This Buddhist temple is located right next to Ishijirogawa Beach on the east side of Shikinejima Island and is the island's only one. A spectacular 900-year-old yew plum pine designated a Natural Monument by the Tokyo metropolitan government stands on the temple's grounds. Nagi (Asian bayberry) also grows wild on the grounds, and this is the northernmost limit for this plant which is mostly seen in Kyushu, Okinawa, and other warm areas. These plants have also accordingly been designated a Cultural Property and can be seen growing throughout the year. In addition, the temple is an activity base for the Shikinejima Hokke Wasantai, a Buddhist hymn choir.

Tokyo Areas
The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
