- Tokyo Taitou-ku Asakusa
- Running from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji, this is one of Japan’s oldest shopping streets with a length of more than 250 meters. There are numerous shops along both sides of the street offering famous Tokyo sweets such as kibidango (millet dumplings), kushidango (mochi dumplings on skewers), ningyo-yaki (sponge cakes in various shapes filled with red bean paste) and kaminari-okoshi (sweet rice crackers) as well as souvenirs geared towards foreign tourists, and here visitors can really enjoy the atmosphere of a Japanese shitamachi (downtown neighborhood). The electric signboards that are beautifully uniform are a must-see.

- This roughly 100-meter shopping street runs from the five-way intersection on Denboin-dori Street through Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express Line. Formerly known as Rock Flower Road, Asakusa Rokku was at the heart of the popular entertainment and theater district of Asakusa. Along the street there are lsigns with images and profiles of entertainers with Asakusa ties like Kiyoshi Atusmi , Sho Aikawa , Kin-ichi Hagimoto , and Ken-ichi Enomoto , a Showa period star known by the stage name Enoken. There are also lots of great though obscure shops frequented by those in the know, as well as entertainment centers like Asakusa Toyokan (former Asakusa France-za), Asakusa Rockza, and Asakusa Engei Hall.

Tokyo Areas
The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
