Asakusa Rokku Street

This roughly 100-meter shopping street runs from the five-way intersection on Denboin-dori Street through Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express Line. Formerly known as Rock Flower Road, Asakusa Rokku was at the heart of the popular entertainment and theater district of Asakusa. Along the street there are lsigns with images and profiles of entertainers with Asakusa ties like Kiyoshi Atusmi , Sho Aikawa , Kin-ichi Hagimoto , and Ken-ichi Enomoto , a Showa period star known by the stage name Enoken. There are also lots of great though obscure shops frequented by those in the know, as well as entertainment centers like Asakusa Toyokan (former Asakusa France-za), Asakusa Rockza, and Asakusa Engei Hall.
