    A two-kilometer-long canyon with walls some 100 meters high which was created via the erosion of tuff rock. Situated along the upper reaches of the Kinu River, visitors can enjoy fantastic, picturesque scenery from the Watarasshai Suspension Bridge spanning the canyon. The canyon is also a renowned destination for fall foliage and, in addition to being visited by numbers of tourists in autumn, it has been selected for inclusion in a list of Tochigi's Best 100.

    This long-standing Japanese confectioner in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture first opened during the Meiji-period (1868-1912). They use carefully screened red beans and sugar to produce Nikko's popular specialty treat, Nikko Neri Yokan (red bean jelly). They also offer a soft Yokan jelly and smaller bite sized pieces. This well-known shop has been long beloved by locals and is often frequented by tourists for their souvenir needs.

    日光は、羊羹のイメージがあまりありませんでしたが、羊羹のお店がいっぱいあって、かなりの競争激戦区。しかし、どの店もレベルが高い。ここの羊羹もすっきりした透明感のある甘さ。間違いない羊羹です。

    友達がいろは坂上に住んでいた時に年に数回お邪魔させて頂いていました。晩御飯も食べれてお酒も飲めてママさんも良くして頂きとても良いお店です。ホテルでディナーを食べるなら私はタローの方が良いです。ただ残念なのは友達が今市に越してしまったのと何時もの定宿が高級ホテルになってしまって会社指定の宿ではなくなってしまった事です。

    お勧めは生湯葉ですが、持ち運びや売り切れなどのハードルが高くて、中々購入できません。 もちろん揚げた湯葉も美味しいです。

Customers can select from a variety of blanks painted in a variety of different ways and have their desired characters carved into the hanko.
