    "Ofunato City in Iwate Prefecture is one of the nation's largest saury landing ports, and a local ramen ""Ofunato Sanma Ramen"" using fresh saury exists. The Ofunato Branding Promotion Council has registered it as a trademark, and it is served at restaurants in the city for 750 yen. The way the saury is cooked differs from restaurant to restaurant, allowing customers to enjoy the original taste of each restaurant."

    店内はペット不可でしたので、相談したら外のベンチに食事を運んでもらい、トイプードルと一緒に食事できました。とても親切な従業員でした。

    Ayutoku, a restaurant established in 1940 (Showa 15), serves Kamaishi ramen made with thin, curly noodles for local fishermen. The homemade noodles are preservative- and colorant-free, and the soup is a light soy sauce flavor made from pork bones, chicken bones, and dried sardines. Curry made by the third-generation owner, who trained under a French master, is also popular, and is made from organically grown rice. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes ranging from ramen to Western cuisine, set menus, and rice bowls.

    Signature food of this restaurant (in my opinion) is Spicy Chicken Curry!! Come and try! English Menu is also available!

    大船渡漁港内にあるアットホームな食堂で、旬な魚介類を刺身で出してくれます。 刺身定食はその時次第で内容が変わりますが、とにかく美味しいです。 あと、あら汁も漁師町ならではで絶品です。
