    This hidden gem of a diner is found in Ebisu. The front is all glass, giving the interior a bright, airy feeling, and you can see the photo book lined shelves from outside. The shop is a pillarless box-shaped room made of wood. The back of the shop is wide open. There are about 5,000 photo books on the shelves, the collection of photo editor Kotaro Iizawa, all of which are free to browse. The food here is unpretentious, with a varied menu of Japanese home-style cooking and healthy food using seasonal ingredients. Their daily special Seasonal One Soup Three Greens Lunch is a hit.

    家が近所のため、ふらりと立ち寄ってご飯するのに良い場所です。 写真集を見ながら落ち着いて食事が出来ます。 サッカーワールドカップやアジアカップのときは、プロジェクターでスクリーンに試合を投影して、お客さん同士で一体となって応援して楽しかったです。 他にも、色々とイベントを企画されていて飽きないです。

    Hato-no-Su Kamameshi, creator of individually home-made cuisine such as kamameshi (a rice dish cooked in an iron pot), river fish and wild vegetables, uses shimeji mushrooms from Okutama and Okutama trout in its dishes and is also registered as a restaurant which serves specialty ingredients from Tokyo. As well as, of course, their kamameshi, other recommended dishes include Okutama trout sashimi. The Japanese trout usually eaten grilled with salt is well worth eating as sashimi.

    JR神田駅出て中央通りを北に3分ほど歩くと左手にあります。最初に自動販売機で食券を買うシステムです。 和風おろしカットステーキ定食(麦ご飯)を頂いたのですが、麦ご飯ではなく白米が出てきました。また味噌汁も忘れられていました。何れも指摘したら正しいモノを持ってきてはくれました。オペレーションに改善点があるとは感じました。
