"Located in Nyuto Onsen, ""Kaniba"" is an inn featuring an open-air mixed bath surrounded by a virgin natural beech forest. The open-air bath is located in the forest about 50 meters away from the main building, and the rock bath can accommodate about 30 people, where you can enjoy simple sulfur spring water. I tried to make a booking on Ganiba Onsen but it was fully booked. So I ended up visiting this place for a few hours during my onsen hopping. I must say Ganiba is my number one favourite.

This is a hot-spring inn located in Futo, Ito City. The hot spring is highly regarded because the raw source is pumped from underground to the bathtub without touching the air and bathers can enjoy the natural water. In addition, luxurious seafood dishes are offered for breakfast and dinner. The fresh sashimi vividly served in the wooden boat-like containers is a feast for the eyes. Sometimes there is a display of a whole tuna being sliced.

To reach Kurikoma Sanso, it is convenient to use your own car or rent a car. The trip from the Yuzawa direction is via National Route 398 and Prefectural Route 282, and from the Jumonji direction via National Route 342, and takes about one hour. The elevation increases along the way, and the views from the car windows are beautiful. Lake Sugawa, with its high transparency, is located 1 km before Kurikoma Sanso, and a walk along the lake is recommended if there is enough time.

岩手県と秋田県の県境にある温泉です。お風呂からの眺めが最高です。強酸Ph2.2の温泉で、湯上がりが気持ちよかったですね。お風呂から出る時に雨水を利用したお湯を利用できるため、貴金属の変色の心配がありませんでした。帰りに熊と鹿肉のレトルトカレーをお土産に買って帰りました。熊に注意して、是非行ってみてください

This restaurant adjoins the Sunshine business hotel, notable for its up-close view of the vast natural beauty of the Arida River and Mt. Myojin. The restaurant is just a five-minute drive from JR Kii-Miyahara Station on the opposite side of the river. The restaurant’s name means “Ayu Tea House,” and as this implies, the establishment takes pride in its ayu cuisine and other dishes made with fish varieties like largehead hairtail (caught in larger quantities here than anywhere else in Japan), and wild longtooth grouper caught in the Kii Channel. Particularly notable is the restaurant’s largehead hairtail rice bowls and oju lacquered boxes, original recipe dishes only a few servings of which are offered each day. Other menu selections, like the wild longtooth grouper hot pot set and kaiseki course cuisine, give diners the chance to fully savor the flavors of the Kii Channel.

久しぶりに利用しました。お風呂も400円で利用できます。特に何か優れているという訳ではありませんが、必要十分です。うどんの自動販売機も健在でつい食べたくなってしまいます。実際肉もしっかりしたものが出てきて、やや味が濃いかったですが美味しかったです。

This hot spring facility is in Kanonji City, Kagawa Prefecture. It uses soft water from underground sources, and it has a variety of treatment baths including outdoor bath, large indoor baths, electric baths and more. It also has Shikoku's first enzyme capsule equipment. There is a restaurant on-site, as well as a shop selling fresh-picked vegetables and house-made fertilizer.

In case any english speakers ever end up in Onohara! I highly recommend a visit to this BathHouse. I come here mostly in summer and never miss the opportunity to drop by in the evening to wind down!

武雄温泉に入りたくて、お食事と入浴がセットの料金があったので、行ってきました。駐車場もあり、お料理も上品でよかったのですが、時間が足りない感じだったので、次回は宿泊したいと思いました。

瀬戸川と白壁土蔵街を見学した後に立ち寄りたいと行きましたが、臨時休業でした。駅にも市役所にも近く、飛騨古川の街中にある唯一の温泉です。旅館がベースで日帰り温泉もやっている感じでした。駐車場にある祠にお稲荷さんが祀られていました。赤茶色の温泉に次回は入りたい。
