"This tourist center is located in Taketomi, Taketomi Town, Yaeyama County. It operates water buffalo carts, which trace along the villages of Taketomi Island which have been designated an ""Important Traditional Architecture Preservation District,"" tours on glass boats where you can observe the sea of Taketomi, which belongs to ""Sekiseisho""-Japan's largest coral reef sea region, and rental of rent-a-cycles. Nearby you'll find Okinawan restaurant ""Kanifu,"" which serves up local cuisine using island ingredients."
