    宇佐神宮を参拝した後、駐車場へと向かう仲見世通り（参道）にある清月堂。 店頭には名物の虎まきを初め宇佐神宮にゆかりのある和菓子がたくさん並んでました。 甘さ控えめのこしあんをカステラ生地で巻いた虎まき、1本260円と安くいいお土産になりました。

    先日観光客として初来店したおはぎ専門店です。ロケーションは県道617号沿いに威容を誇るホテル山水館の道向い。この県道のこの辺りは平成通りという愛称らしいので、平成通り沿いともいえます。JR駅からブラリ5分程度で到着。店構えは超地味。おはぎと大書された看板だけが頼り。 コンニチワした店内は甘い香りに包まれていました。小豆フェチにはパラダイス。家人と相談してイートインすることに。2個で300円。待つ...

A trip to Oita is tantamount to a long soak in the Beppu baths.
