    A mural located within Mekari Park. The mural depicts the Battle of Dannoura, a battle that occurred in 1185 between the Minamoto clan and the Taira clan across the strait on the opposite shore. It stands three-meters tall and 44-meters long and is made with Arita-ware ceramic tiles. From the park you can look out across the Kanmon Strait and the island of Honshu.
