"A Japanese confectionary shop located in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. Selling Japanese style sweets made with choice ingredients, some of the shop's many products include monaka wafer cakes stuffed with sweet bean jam, and elegant ""Kanomi"" cups containing traditional Japanese confections. Decorated in Japanese modern style, the establishment has a quiet atmosphere and offers cafe style selections in addition to confections, and customers can take in a quiet meal here as well. The shop is frequented not only by locals but also many tourists seeking gifts and souvenirs."

My family dropped by Suzukake for dessert as the weather was quite warm. The place is not big and popular as we had to wait for around 30 minutes to get seated. My wife had the green tea parfait...
