Established to serve as the core gathering and exchange center in Kansai Science City, it consists of three buildings - the research facility-focused Laboratory Wing and Super Laboratory Wing; and the Interaction Wing, which hosts a hotel on floors four through six as well as a mall area with restaurants, a bank, and other establishments and facilities. The Laboratory Wing and Super Laboratory Wing primarily consisting of leasable floors useable for clean room and other technical research as well as offices and other purposes. The Interaction Wing has a rentable hall which can be used for a wide variety of events.
