A shopping mall adjoining Odaiba Seaside Park in the Daiba area of Minato City Tokyo. The mall hosts casual fashion and lifestyle goods shops, the largest restaurant zone in the area, a movie theater, and the Sony ExploraScience museum. The facility's ramen theme park and the Fuji TV Kid's Cafe Mamatoko are also popular.

I had read about the restaurants here on trip advisor before I had left home and when we arrived at our hotel our rooms weren’t ready so I suggested we come here. Only a short walk from our hotel...

This is an indoor type shopping mall in “Palette Town” in Aomi, Koto City, Tokyo, featuring an interior modelled on the streets of medieval Europe. The center, with a vaulted ceiling simulating a blue sky, includes 190 shops such as fashion, design accessories and restaurants. The fountain plaza and church plaza are popular spots to take commemorative photos. Pets are allowed with you on the first floor.

Beautiful shopping mall with some areas not geared for shopping. There was a museum area (free) that showcased old-timey cars and also Toyota Mega Web. The mall itself reminds me of the Venetian in...

    Tokyo Shibuya-ku Ebisu 4-20
This is a complex in Shibuya City housing office buildings, shopping facilities, restaurants, the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, Museum of Yebisu Beer, and the Westin Hotel Tokyo etc. Among the restaurants, the French restaurant “Gastronomy Joel Robuchon” is famous for being awarded three stars in the Tokyo Michelin Guide. It is about a five-minute walk on the “Ebisu Skywalk”—a moving footpath from the east exit of Ebisu Station.

Love this place especially the trek from Ebisu station as it offers a different view of modern Tokyo. The Illumination and the chandelier are worth visiting and best to visit this at night. Ebisu is...

    Tokyo Chuou-ku Ginza 3-6-1
This is a department store located in the Ginza district of Tokyo’s Chuo City whose roots lie in the Tsuruya Gofuku store that was started in Yokohama in 1869. The exterior walls that switched over to all LED-lighting in September 2006 have made the store become a new landmark among Ginza’s night scenery. The store is home to world famous brands such as Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior, as well as select shops carrying high quality items. The food merchandise area that spans two full floors is bustling with visitors returning from work or shopping.

This department store looks a little bit old school to me. There are very long corridors and the lifts look like you were in the 1970s. Anyway, the variety of products are great!

    Tokyo Shibuya-ku Jingumae 4-12-10
This mixed-use complex was built on the site of the former Dosokai Aoyama Apartments that were a landmark of Omotesando. With a prominent existence in Omotesando, a place where Japan’s cultural trends originate, the complex is known for its concentration of global brand shops and Japan main stores. The facility is full of shops handling refined urban products. The creative architecture designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando is a must-see.

This is a hip area where the shop designs and displays are very attractive. Lots of people walking around, and lots of food outlets. Shops mainly selling branded stuff.

    Tokyo Chuou-ku Ginza 5-2-1
This commercial facility facing Ginza’s Sukiyabashi intersection opened as a new Ginza landmark in 2016. It has a distinctive exterior based on a motif of Edo-kiriko (a type of faceted glass from Edo that is a traditional craft), and even features a comfortable lounge in which guests are free to relax as well as a rooftop terrace. Inside the building are a diverse collection of restaurants and shops including miscellaneous goods and duty-free shops based around fashion. HINKA RINKA, a fashion select store targeting adult women, occupies floors three to five and is quite popular. The basement floor is directly connected to Ginza Station.

This is a shopping center fist and foremost but personally the main attraction for me is the design of the place. I was walking around Ginza one day and the sleek black exterior drew me in. Inside...

With Tokyo Bay spreading out before your eyes, here you can enjoy shopping while feeling like you are on an expensive cruise ship. The mall also has a full array of indoor entertainment facilities, such as Tokyo Joypolis and Legoland.

    Tokyo Chiyoda-ku Yurakuchou 1-2-2
A shopping center located a six minute walk from Tokyo Metro /JR Yurakucho Station. Surrounded by hotels and performance art and movie theaters, the facility bustles with people in search of fashion and art. Many of the center's shops are quieter, more low-key establishments. In addition to floors dedicated to apparel, lifestyle goods, beauty, and restaurants, there is also a three-screen movie theater in the facility's annex. Outside, Nemu-no-hiroba is a popular meeting spot which hosts a miniature statue of Godzilla and whose walkway is embedded with plates featuring casts of Japanese moviestars handprints.

If you want to see the Godzilla statue I can confirm he is alive and well and residing in this district of Tokyo once again.

Tokyo Areas

around-area-map

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It's hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world's tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you're in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
