This restaurant specializing in teppanyaki (food grilled on a flattop griddle) is located in Yodoshi, Fujinomiya City. The restaurant offers okonomiyaki (savory pancakes) topped with their original sauce, teppanyaki dishes, desserts, and more made with carefully-selected ingredients such as natural spring water from Mt. Fuji. One of their most popular items is their Uruoi yakisoba (fried noodles). This take on Fujinomiya yakisoba features springy wheat noodles made exclusively with domestic flour and served with toppings including powder of dried sardines and eggs from Asagiri Kogen. Supplies are limited to 30 servings on weekdays and 80 servings on weekends.

    一度しか焼き物も頼めず、 店も汚く、 二度と行かない。 最悪!!!最悪!!! 飲食店の対応じゃ無い。 皆さん行かない方がいい。

This teppan-yaki hot plate restaurant is just a seven-minute walk from Fujinomiya Station in the direction of Mt. Fuji. They've been making fresh hot takoyaki and okonomiyaki ever since they first opened in 1967. They're known for their Fujinomiya Yakisoba, a catch all title which includes squid yakisoba, meat yakisoba, egg yakisoba, and more, and has entered into the B-1 Grand Prix Hall of fame, a contest which gathers local cuisine from around Japan. Their yakisoba made with top quality lard is very filling and its simple delicious flavor has been loved by the locals for many years.

Enjoy teppanyaki comprising wagyu beef and Ise shrimps As an eatery on the first floor of a hotel, we boast a gorgeous space that maintains your privacy. You can relish our teppanyaki that contains fresh vegetables, Ise shrimps and scallops. Our most popular dish is Japanese black beef due to its rich umami, fragrant smell and melt-in-your-mouth texture. We also provide a wide range of wines and Japanese sakes to help you enjoy your meal thoroughly.

As a guest in the Mars Hotel we booked a table for 7pm with great expectation. Despite the reservation we were shown to a booth table. I explained we wanted the Teppanyaki counter experience - to...

Shizuoka Areas

around-area-map

With the giant Pacific Ocean to the south and the great Mount Fuji to the north, Shizuoka prefecture is blessed with some of the best views the country has to offer. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighbored by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies.
