    A roadside station situated along the old Nomugi Kaido highway in Azumi, Matsumoto City. The station has a shop selling Nagano specialty products such as inekokina pickles, said to be the progenitor species of coleseed. There's also a farm-fresh shop and restaurant serving noodle dishes and set meals. In addition, visitors can tour the Fuketsu wind cave, a natural refrigerator used since ancient times to store food; and take a Miyama-ori weaving class.

    松本I.Cより国道１５８号線を上高地方面に、車で約３０分の場所にある道の駅です。 上高地、槍穂高、白骨温泉、乗鞍高原など、アルプス山岳郷の玄関口にあたるところにあります。 しばらくぶりに行ったら、野菜売り場が外になり、建物内はレストランとお土産品などが売られてました。 8月なのにすでにリンゴが売られていました。松本産でした。スイカはもうシーズンが過ぎたためか、安くなってました。

    "This roadside station is on Prefectural Route 306 in Hosono, Matsukawa Village, Kita-azumi County. They have a specialty product area selling oyaki dumplings and other snacks, a farm stand, and a restaurant serving fare made with local ingredients like set meals, rice bowls, and noodle dishes. They also put on the ""Suzumushi no Sato Crystal Symphony"" every year from late August to mid-September during the season when the crickets are chirping. They hang lanterns for it, and there are activities and events like cricket catching, habitat exploration, and live music."

    長野行きの特急バスを待つ間、バス停から数分程度だったので、お土産を見に立ち寄り。お土産だけでなく新幹線の中で食べる用のおやき等も買い込み、満足。

    "A roadside station standing along the Omachi Highway in Miasa, Omachi City. The entire station is a lodging facility with hot spring baths. Outfitted with 12 guest rooms and a large public bath area, the station also serves creative takes on traditional kaiseki course cuisine made with Shinshu beef and other Nagano ingredients. The station also has a shop selling local specialty products, a restaurant which serves ""Kurobe Dam Curry,"" and a rest area. The station's baths are available to non-guests."

    Used to be better. Now, not too many items there. I have visited the place a few times in the past 5-6 years, but seems like it is getting worst from year to year...

The station is adjoined by a bathhouse whose baths are constantly replenished ""kakenagashi"" style from a natural hot spring which offers a discount meal and bath set."
