You’ll also find goods featuring the town mascot “Gokarin,” and products made by companies with factories in Goka.

    ご当地バーガーのなめパックンを求めて土浦駅からランニングでやってきました。お昼をわずかに過ぎた時間でしたが既に売り切れ。平日だったしそれほど多く作ってないのでしょうか。他の行方バーガーはとても美味しかったので、またなめパックンを求めて走ってこようと思います。

    国道349号線沿いの小さな道の駅。GWやお盆でもなければ空いています。レストランのメニューは自家製うどんや常陸秋そばなど。里見牧場のジェラートも売られているので、それを目当てに来る人の方が多いのでは。トイレ休憩がてらジェラートを食べに来るとよいでしょう。

    道の駅内のレストラン。奥久慈しゃものささみフライがついたオムライス1,350円をいただきました。フライがとても美味しくて満足。モンドセレクションに選ばれた地元の和菓子店のクリーム大福もついていて、こちらもおいしい。お勧めです。

    袋田の滝へ行く途中で立ち寄る。豊富な地物野菜も売られて活気あり、フードコート明るく綺麗でしっかりしていて良く、トイレも清潔。印象に残ったのは川沿いに作られているので多くの人が子供さんに水遊びをさせていたこと、敷地内にホットドッグがキッチンカーで売られていてそれが美味しかったことか。なかなか面白く楽しく、また立ち寄りたい。
