  • Kamikochi Nakanose Park

    This nature park is located in the southern part of Azusa River, with benches along the side of the trail and a pavilion, making it a good place to rest when visiting the surrounding tourist spots. The park is also part of a 3-hour walking course from the Kamikochi Bus Terminal to enjoy the location.

    A nature park situated inside Chubu Sangaku National Park which encloses one of Japan’s best high moors, which extends across a 2,000 meter tall mountain. The park is also renowned for its blooming flowers and fall colors. Alpine plants such as Asian skunk cabbage, Japanese wood poppy, and Dryas pentapetala can be found in the park, which flower beautifully from June to August. The park is outfitted with approximately 5.5 kilometers of wooden footpaths for visitors to take leisurely strolls on.
