    This is a French restaurant inside the Hakone Highland Hotel in Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo County, Kanagawa Prefecture, with strong theme colors of dark blue and gold. Here one can have their fill of French Japonais—Japanese ingredients and cooking styles mixed with French traditional arts. They use cookware not found even in Tokyo’s best French restaurants, and the wood oven-fired Garden Broche has three cooking methods of rotisserie, smoke and grill for some juicy and flavorful main dishes.

    Dined here twice. Wood fried grill was the standout. Tried mutton, veal and lobster. All were delicious. Setting is classy and service professional. Overall, really enjoyed the meals.

    LYS is a café restaurant inside Lalique Museum Hakone in Sengokuhara, Hakone Town. The casual French dishes, with a theme of the blessings of nature, utilize seasonal vegetables from the Saisou region and include a daily lunch plate special, sandwiches and salad on its menu. You can look onto the courtyard of native trees and enjoy your meal while feeling the nature of the seasons.

    感染症対策が続くこのような状況で、メニュー数はかなり絞られていましたので、15周年記念コースとランチプレートを注文しました。 綺麗な庭や台ヶ岳と箱根特有の動きが早い天気の移り変わりを眺めながら美味しく食事とワインを楽しめました。

    This French restaurant is inside Moto-Hakone, Hakonemachi Odakyu Hotel de Yama. They offer authentic French cuisine made with seasonal ingredients from breakfast through dinner, with multi-course meals and a la carte dining as well. Their terrace seating has a view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji.

    A terrace on the lake with a fantastic view, great food, amazingly good crafted deserts, and pleasant weather; what a beautiful day!
