    The Gyoza Center is a gyoza specialty store located in Gora, Hakone. Not only do they have a standard menu but this store also features a menu with abundant varieties such as crab dumplings, “natto” (fermented soybean) dumplings and kimchi dumplings. It is known for being pioneering in its creation of unusual varieties of dumplings. In addition to having a menu with individual items on it, there is also a set menu with dishes such as rice and miso soup which is perfect for lunch while sightseeing in Hakone. It is a three-minute walk away from Hakone Tozan Railway’s Chokoku no Mori Station or Gora Station.

    Nisshintei is a Chinese restaurant, located just a two-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station, that has earned a good reputation for its Yumoto Handmade Ramen, which takes three hours to make. These flat noodles, served al dente, go well with a simply-flavored broth that evokes the tastes of yesteryear. Another popular dish is Kakuni Ramen, which contains exceptionally tender braised pork, but the restaurant makes only 20 servings of this each day. Nisshintei’s renowned deep-fried wontons topped with bean jam make a perfect accompaniment to beer. Customers may sit at the counter, at a table, or in a tatami room, so families with children find this an easy restaurant to patronize.

    Off the main road and favoured by locals. Good servings and friendly service. A good, cheap and tasty meal. Handmade, homemade noodles. Happy hour for drinks from 5pm to 7pm. Good value.

    This Chinese restaurant situated in the hills of Sengokuhara in Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo County, Kanagawa is where you can enjoy fine food while looking out over the glorious views throughout the different seasons. The chef with years of experience at a famous hotel creates authentic Chinese cuisine using the natural flavors of the ingredients. Popular dishes include chilled sesame tofu and tomatoes using locally-made tofu, as well as avocado and egg in sweet vinegar. Apart from soup noodle dishes most other dishes can be taken out.

Their specialty is their individually hand-made pot sticker dumplings and many of the local residents pick them up for take-away. Their pot sticker repertoire includes a wide variety of fillings including shiso beefsteak leaf, corn, squid, and more. A very popular choice is their Stamina-Pot-Sticker filled with gingko nut and garlic. With ramen and pot sticker combo options, snacks, and an assortment of drinks including beers and Chinese Shaoxing wine this is a great choice for a post party snack or an after-party locale.

    箱根登山鉄道の彫刻の森駅下車すぐの中華料理のお店です。定食はボリューム満点で男性向きですが、お勧めは柔らかい五目焼きそばです。柔らかいから油で揚げてはいませんが、程よく油で焼き付けていて、おそばの焦げた具合が丁度良いのと中華餡のマッチングが最高です。いつも我が家は大盛りを頼んで、娘・かみさんと3人で分け合って食べています（もう一つぐらいチャーハンや汁そばも頼むけど）。
