- Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa Japanese Garden
- Travel / Tourism
- Tokyo Minato-ku Takanawa 3-13-1
- This hotel is located a five-minute walk from the Takanawa Exit of JR Shinagawa Station. The Japanese garden, surrounded on three sides by Prince Hotels, has been planted with a variety of plant life and is also a famous and renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing in the spring. Some 17 varieties of cherry trees alone grow in the garden, including Kawazu, Oshima, Yoshino, and hill cherries. The garden holds a cherry blossom festival each year in spring, and during this time the cherry trees are lit up at night; the hotels also offer special flower viewing lodging and meal plans. In addition, the garden is dotted with historic sites such as a temple belfry and Kannondo temple hall.

Tokyo Areas
The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It’s hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world’s tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you’re in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
