The shop's wide-ranging selection of products focuses on Yuzen dyed textiles and includes complete Japanese clothing sets such as obi belts and tomesode and furisode kimono, Japanese accessories, and traditional hanayome noren bridal curtains, as well as items which make perfect souvenirs like handkerchiefs and tenugui wrapping cloths decorated with images by Yuzen artisans. In addition, some 20 thousand dyed and woven goods such as Yuzen and aozome indigo dyed goods used in Kaga and Hokuriku gathered from the Edo to the Showa period by the shop's founder, Shin'ichi Hanaoka, are on permanent display as the ""Erihana Collection"" in the Kaga Okunizome Museum on the second floor."

Fireworks displays and summer festivals are held nearby, and it is fun to attend them wearing a yukata (an informal cotton kimono).

Based on the concept of creating a new sense in everyday life by re-proposing a piece of dignified inherited Japanese culture that had been lost, they coordinate each and every customer’s encounter with the best kimono that suits them. They also offer rentals in addition to selling them. Most young Japanese people can’t put on kimonos by themselves. But it is free to be dressed the rental yukata by a kitsukeshi (person who helps another person get dressed), and they can be rented until the end of the dancing on the day of the Gujo Odori festival. During the Tetsuya Odori (late night dancing held for four nights during the Gujo Odori festival) period, and their rental hours are extended until midnight.

Matsusaka momen is product brand proudly offered by Ise vendors, and is characterized by a vibrant striped pattern originally called ""shima-watari"" (imported from abroad) and aizome (indigo dyeing). In the store, they sell fabric, bags, pouches, fans, and other small articles using Matsusaka momen with a deep feeling so you'll love to use it, as well as women's clothing. There is a charge to try your hand at weaving, and since there are limited looms, you must inquire in advance."

    Located in front of Okaderasan Keishoji Temple, Utsukushiya is a venerable store that has been selling Japanese-style clothing since 1924. In addition to renting out kimono made from Matsusaka cotton, which is characterized by its indigo dye and striped patterns, it also offers customers the opportunity to try making their own coasters using loom-woven cloth. Keishoji Temple sponsors a festival on the first and eighteenth of each month, and on those days, Utsukushiya runs a pop-up cafe that sells the so-called Go-En Lunch, made with local ingredients, to temple visitors. It also offers lecture-demonstrations on how to eat and season Sukiyaki made from Matsusaka beef, which is one of the three greatest varieties of wagyu beef. It holds other lively events that allow visitors to experience Japanese culture and runs a lodging facility, Kurayado, which accommodates only one group of lodgers per day.
