곤고후쿠지 절

시코쿠의 최남단 도사 시미즈시 진언종 풍산파의 사원. '사다잔 산 후다라쿠인 사원'이라 일컫는다. 남해도 시코쿠 88개소 영지의 제38번 참배지. 아시즈리 곶이 내려다 보이는 언덕의 중턱에 위치한다. 822년 사가왕의 칙명을 받은 승려 구카이가 삼면 천수 관세음보살을 조각하여 모시고 창건했다고 전해진다. 헤이안 시대에는 관음영지로서 믿음을 받았으며, 고후카쿠사왕 후궁의 사자와 가인 이즈미 시부키 등도 참배하였다.
