This is the main store of Taiho Ramen, which opened in 1951. Its tonkotsu soup has stewed for half a century and the traditional “yobimodoshi soup” was created here. The chashu pork, prepared from the leg or rib depending on the menu, attest to the care taken by the cooks. It is around eight minutes on foot from Nishitetsu Kurume Station.

One of the oldest Tonkotsu Ramen restaurant. Depending on your experience of Tokontsu ramen, some people may not tolerate this smell. Locals love the flavor and the taste of this ramen.

Originally opened as Kyushu's first ramen street stall, this ramen restaurant is known for serving old fashioned Kyushu style tonkotsu pork broth ramen. The restaurant's ramen, characterized by a simple broth and crimped noodles, is said to be the progenitor of tonkotsu ramen. The restaurant is also notable for making its ramen with alkaline ion water and Mongolian rock salt.

You can choose from five levels of firmness for the noodles and seven levels of seasoning and they also offer a popular combo meal menu which options including their gyoza pot-sticker combo and their fried offal combo all of which include a small serving of rice.

A ramen shop located along National Route 210. They offer Kurume Gourmet Dairyu Ramen, created in Kurume said to be the birthplace of Tonkotsu pork bone broth ramen. Their soup broth is rich in flavor with a refreshing aftertaste and is served with their carefully homemade noodles and topped with chashu pork made with their secret sauce and local Asakura grown organic green onions. They also serve Jigoku Hell Ramen where you can choose the spiciness level and offer combo meals with rice dishes and gyoza pot sticker dumplings.

久留米市庁舎から歩いて５分とかからないところにある、中華料理のお店です。久留米出張時、ランチタイムにて利用しました。地元の方から、担々麺が美味しいと聞いていたので、担々麺をオーダーしました。スープだけでなく、麺がとても美味しく感じました。替え玉が頼めるとのことだったので、とうぜんながら替え玉もいきました。
