    This Japanese restaurant can be identified by its distinctive crab sign, which is visible from National Route 431. The restaurant serves crab, which the area boasts the largest catches of out of anywhere in Japan; as well as a variety of other seafood. The restaurant's exquisite and hearty seafood rice bowls are topped with so many huge pieces of sashimi, you can't even see the rice underneath. Limited to just ten customers a day, on many weekend days they almost instantly sell out. The restaurant's fish, caught locally, is extremely fresh, and customers rave that here you can truly savor its innate flavor.

    This seafood restaurant located in Agarimichi Town, Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture, is noted for using fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan and brought into the port at Sakaiminato. Guests can taste fresh seasonal seafood carefully selected by the owner of a former fish shop in simple recipes that make use of the ingredients such as seafood rice bowls, sashimi or tempura. The restaurant specializes in crab dishes from September through to June with the matsuba crab being in season and especially popular from November to March. The local gourmet food Sakaiminato crab rice made with red snow crabs is also very popular.

    Kanijiman is a restaurant specializing in crab cuisine that is located in an arcade of Mizuki Shigeru Road in the Honmachi district of Sakaiminato City. Kanijiman is run by a fishing enterprise, and so is able to provide carefully selected fresh crab. Diners can enjoy a really satisfying crab meal, including red snow crab, matsuba crab (in the winter), etc. The large restaurant has both tables and Japanese-style zashiki dining areas; some seats are available for diners accompanied by pets.

    水木しげる記念館のすぐ傍にあります。新かにめしセット1,650円と、紅ズワイガニ付きどんぶりセットを頂きました。カニを完食するのに時間を要しました。お味はまあまあでした。季節が旬な時期に再訪できればと思います。

Here customers can savor the tastes of red snow crab, champagne crab, blackthroat seaperch, and other extravagant seafood varieties shipped straight from Sakaiminato Fishing Port. The head chef never serves crab he isn't satisfied with, and customers love the restaurant's system which allows you to enjoy your crab either grilled over a charcoal fire or served hotpot style. You can reserve the number of crabs you intend to eat and freely choose any combination of how you would like them prepared, including crab sashimi, grilled crab, and crab sukiyaki. In addition to course meals, the restaurant offers a full array of a la carte choices.

    This Japanese seafood restaurant faces the Sakai Channel. The restaurant's vaunted cuisine is made exclusively using wild seafood from Sakaiminato and the San'in region. All of the shop's seafood is stocked fresh each morning, and everything, from cheap yet popular varieties to high class seafood, is carefully selected by the owner and fishmongers. Each piece which makes up the restaurant's popular sashimi assortment is cut thick, resulting in a delightfully satisfying texture for diners. Single-serving cups filled with local sakes from across the country are on display above the counter, and customers can also have fun finding the sake they feel best pairs with their seafood. The restaurant also offers a full array of lunch options, including a mackerel meal, tempura meal, and roast beef rice bowl and, in addition to being a fun destination for families and groups, the restaurant is also a great place where a lone diner can feel comfortable.

    こちらのお店の「てっぺん海鮮丼」は、少し高いですが見た目の迫力がバツグンです。 せっかく境港に来たのですから、これくらい豪華な海鮮丼を食べないともったいないです。

    旅行前からここは決まり。市場でカニやら色々買い出しを済ませ12時半ごろ到着。 6番待ちでその間メニューを隅から隅まで眺め、私はおまかせ定食と妻は特上スペシャルを注文。刺身は文句なしで美味いしカニ汁も美味でした。合計5640円?だが旅の思い出には十分です。
