    A 15-minute drive from JR Ono Station and Wani Station, and a 20-minute shuttlebus ride from Katata Station. This restaurant is located in the mountains, where one can see from Lake Biwa all the way to Mt. Mikami (Omi Fuji) and Mt. Hiei. A reservation is required for both lunch and dinner. Whether lunch or dinner, customers can choose between two course meals; dinner is only served on Saturday and Sunday. You can enjoy your meal with afternoon tea, a seasonal dessert, or a glass of homemade blueberry juice.

    This Western-style cuisine restaurant is just north off the toll road on the west side of the Lake Biwa Bridge. The restaurant focuses on the use of fresh, seasonal vegetables. The lunch course comes with your choice of main dish, soup, and hors d'oeuvre. The restaurant also happily provides a wide selection of course meals to suit just about any budget. In addition, the restaurant has its own sommelier and boasts an extremely abundant selection of wines. The restaurant's a la carte pain de campagne is staple choice. Lastly, the restaurant can be rented out in its entirety or just half the establishment for events.

    ランチを食べました。酸味が効いた赤カブのソースがかかったサラダが新鮮で大変美味しかったです。駐車場もあります。すぐに満席になりそうな感じでしたので、予約を入れた方が良いと思います。川沿いの裏道から行くと、途中狭いところがあるので、琵琶湖大橋側から行く方が良いです。

    琵琶湖ホテルに宿泊したので、朝食ビュッフェをお願いしました。コロナ禍で、どちらのホテルもビュッフェスタイルを敬遠しているのですが、衛生管理を徹底された、ビュッフェスタイルに久しぶりに感激しました。自由に好きな物を好きな量選択出来る事の素晴らしさ。スクランブルエッグとクロアッサンが美味いしかった。琵琶湖の景色は最高でギャルソンの方も丁寧な接遇で、素敵な時間を過ごせました

Visitors to Shiga prefecture are almost always hopping east across the prefectural border from Kyoto, and they are almost certainly Lake Biwa-bound. Covering an area of 670 square kilometers, Lake Biwa makes up the bulk of Shiga prefecture, with beautiful lakeside paths that offer myriad walking and cycling opportunities, connecting a string of museums, shrines, and picturesque views that finally lead you to Hikone Castle on the eastern side of the lake.
