First, the history of Mizkan vinegar production from the Edo period to modern times is introduced. The museum is full of interesting, interactive exhibits and clever ideas. The tour ends with an area where visitors can experience the wonders of foods with a focus on sushi and nabe hot pot. The museum also has a shop which sells unique original merchandise.

    南知多へ行く際に立ち寄りました。事前に予約が必要です。ガイド付きの全館コースがお薦めです。時間は９０分かかります。ミツカンの酢作りの歴史に触れることができます。相当な力の入ったミュージアムです。入館料が３００円必要ですが、設備やスタッフのことを考えると安いものだと思います。

    The Kunizakari Sake no Bunkkan Museum is a corporate museum created by Nakano Sake Brewery in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture. The building has been used to produce sake for 200 years until 1972. The museum has exhibits on sake and the history of Handa, a display where sake brewing is introduced through Japanese paper mannequins, and displays showing the tools used in sake brewing. Visitors can gain useful insights and learn all about the production of sake. There is also a sake tasting corner where visitors can sample sake and plum wine, and there is also a shop.

    Tokoname City in Aichi Prefecture is known as one of the “Six Old Kilns of Japan,” and it is the birthplace of Tokoname ware. The Tokoname City Ceramic Hall, located between Tokoname Station and the Tokoname Interchange, produces and sells Tokoname ware. You can purchase teacups, rice bowls, vases, and ornaments. The facility itself is a tourist location and the first stop on the “pottery trail.” There’s a parking lot, rest area, bathroom, and other amenities, making it a kind of base for Tokoname tourism.

    Great ceramic artifacts and a lot of it. Big collection of ceramics, some are really nice. It was my second visit here.

    プラネタリウムがお勧めです。（内容は事前にネットで確認してください） そのた、館内も子どもが楽しめる色々なスペースがあります。 他の方も書いてある通り、週末は駐車場が込み合いますのでご注意を。

It also exhibits equipment used for making vinegar, a long lived product.

Filled with informational panels and models, visitors can learn about various types of energy, energy amounts, and energy generation methods as well as their effects on the environment. With an advance reservation, visitors can enjoy a session in the experiment lab and watch a movie in the theater hall. The museum can also accommodate school groups and other large tour groups.

    普段なかなか行けないのですが、イベントがあるとすごい人が押し寄せます。 東海市内の学校でチラシが配られるのでなおさらです。 大勢の人を捌けないのは仕方ないかと思いますが、シャトルバスに乗った人が着いたころには人気イベントのチケットが取れなかったり、定時前に車で着いた人も、既にチケットが配られていたため見ることができなかったりと、残念な面があります。

    常滑に行く途中でこちらの博物館に立ち寄り。駐車場は無料、入館料も無料。知多市のことがすべてわかる。これほど中身が充実していて学習・体験ができるのは、学校教育だけでなくファミリーや大人にとっても役に立つことばかり。すごく得した気分に。実際に蚕を飼育しているのが興味深い。郷土玩具や漁業に関わる展示、窯業の歴史紹介など、とても学ぶことが多いのに驚かされる。
