The outdoor baths have a roof, so you can have a soak even on rainy days. Along with a relaxation room that can hold up to 200 people you will also find the Kogane Tea house which sells local products and souvenirs.

    梅が島温泉手前にある温泉です。風呂には入湯しませんでしたが、売店で土産物を購入しました。風呂は、次回にする。当該温泉近くで、桜が綺麗なところがあるというので、新田地区公会堂脇、ペンション入り口に鎮座する”新田の枝垂れ桜”を観に行きました。樹齢１２０年の立派な櫻です。

    椹島から千枚岳、悪沢岳、赤石岳と縦走した帰りに、白樺荘で汗を流し、遅い昼食をいただきました。登山の充実感と達成感を感じながらの入浴は最高でした。

    "A public bath along the source of Nakagochi River, a tributary of Abe River. The hot spring water is sodium hydrogen carbonate, with a characteristically thick feeling on the skin. The indoor baths are good for a relaxed time in the tiled bathtubs. The outdoor baths are featuring warmish free-flowing spring water, so you can relax surrounded by mountains. Body soap and shampoo is provided, and towels are available at a charge, so you can casually stop by for a bath. You are allowed to bring drinks and food into the relaxation room. The large hall is used as an event hall, with various kinds of events such as ""Yamazato no Ongakukai (music concert)""."

    A hot spring district with a 1,700 year long history and which is aid to have been known to the ancient Emperor Ojin in Tumulus period. Umegashima Onsen is the most well-known hot spring district in the Umegashima Onsenkyo hot spring village. Situated some 1,000 meters above sea level, the district is comprised of 12 inns in the Abekawa River source basin. Because of its secluded location surrounded by mountains, it is said one can get a hot spring experience here that is richer than anywhere else, and accordingly some call this place the Rich Onsen. The waters of the area's colorless sulfur spring are alkaline and gentle on the skin. Abe Great Falls, selected as one of Japan's 100 best waterfalls, is located 45 minutes away. Seen as a symbol of the beauty of inner Abe, visitors are recommended to see this majestic waterfall. In 2017, Umegahara Onsenkyo was designated a National Hot Spring Health Resorts by the Ministry of the Environment.

    静岡駅から車で１ｈ以上かかります。しかも山道。酔い止めを用意されることをおすすめします。もちろんコンビニなどは周辺にありませんので、先に買出しをば。ロッジの居心地はよかったです。温泉も普通に気持ち良い7人くらいで入れる浴室でした。バスケができるコートなどもあります。ただ、なにせ遠いので近場の方しかおすすめは難しいです。
