- Kawamatagawa River Ravine Fishing Spot is located a 15-minute drive from the Sutama Interchange and Kiyosato Station. Along this nearly two-kilometer stretch of the river, visitors can try their luck at catching rainbow trout, char, landlocked salmon, or other species of fish. Visitors can pay to reserve the whole site for two hours or pay to spend the day at a bait fishing site. This place is popular with students, who even come from other prefectures. There is no limit on the number of fish one may take home, and there is an area where they may roast and eat the fish they have just caught. Three kinds of fishing, with bait, with lures, or fly fishing, are available from mid-April to mid-October.

Yamanashi Areas
Yamanashi prefecture is the proud home of one of Japan’s most celebrated icons: Mount Fuji. Although the mountain straddles both Yamanashi and Shizuoka, the most breathtaking views of Fuji-san can be seen from the Fuji Five Lakes north of the mountain in Yamanashi prefecture. The plethora of outdoor activities in and around the lakes all have the benefit of the country’s highest mountain as their backdrop, and we can assure you that it is an unforgettable sight.
