    This sea fishing park is in Wakayama Marina City on a man-made island in Wakayama Bay in Wakayama. Even children and beginners can have fun fishing at this popular spot. In this Ocean Fishing Pond you can catch larger fish such as sea bream and amberjack and even if nothing is biting they guarantee at least one sea bream with half day admission. The fishing park covers a 570-meter-long breakwater and the fish you can catch will change depending on season including flounder, black porgy, filefish, mackerel, and horse mackerel. Rental fishing gear and bait are available on site.

    This sea side fishing spot in Shirahama Town, Nishimuro County, Wakayama, is connected to land allowing you to relax and spend as long as you’d like fishing without worries. The fishing area is split into three different varieties; the small fishing course where you can catch smaller fish such as small red sea bream and mackerel, the large fishing course with sandbar sharks and greater amberjack, and the relaxed large fishing course with large red sea bream and bluebacks. Each course has a time limit but no catch limit. Fishing equipment is available for rental.

    A seven-minute car or bus ride from JR Kii-Yura Station. This fishing pond is located right in front of the Umitsuri Koen bus stop. Here visitors can enjoy fishing to their heart's content in Yura Town, which is famous for its excellent fishing spots. Some of the many fish you can catch in the park year-round include horse mackerel, mackerel, sardine and black rockfish, ensuring visitors will have fun fishing no matter when they come. There are no time limits on fishing and visitors can also just come and watch if they don't want to fish themselves. Note that when the park opens and closes varies by month, so be sure to check in advance if you plan to come in the morning or evening.

    This facility is located a five-minute drive from JR Shirahama Station on rafts in Tanabe Bay, Nanki Shirahama, adjacent to an fish farming tank. Visitors can fish for black sea bream, red sea bream, yellowfin sea bream, longtooth grouper, flounder, and other species, and sometimes they catch an unexpectedly large fish. There are three large rafts with toilet facilities and roofs and 28 smaller mullet rafts. A special boat carries visitors to the rafts, and their choice of raft is available on a first-come, first-served basis. On weekdays, visitors can rent an entire raft for themselves. Fishing contests are held on the rafts on a regular basis.
