This spot famous for its fall foliage is located north shore of Lake Kawaguchi. It is about a ten-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Interchange and about a 15-minute drive from Fujiyoshida Interchange. The stunning tunnel of fall leaves stretches for 150 meters along the banks of the Nashigawa River. It is one of the highlights of the Fuji Kawaguchiko Autumn Leaves Festival held from early to mid-November. Musical and other performances are showcased on stages set up for the festival. The area bustles with rows of booths selling snacks, souvenirs, and other items. The corridor is illuminated from sunset until 10 p.m. during the festival.

This place famous for its autumn foliage is located in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Minamitsuru County, Yamanashi Prefecture. Its name stems from the resemblance of the fall foliage of the trees along the road to a tunnel of deep red leaves. Many visit each autumn to enjoy the sight of the fall colors and of Mt. Fuji. It is also well worth visiting in the summer to see the fresh greenery juxtaposed with Mt. Fuji.

This hands-on craft workshop is located near the Inaridaimyojin Shrine about a seven-minute walk from the Sarumawashi Gekijo-mae bus stop and about a 15-minute drive from the Kawaguchiko Interchange. Visitors can create their own original works of silver clay pottery while receiving direct instruction from a professional artisan. Two of the experiences, hand-built pottery and making silver accessories with UV epoxy resin and silver clay, are available for a limited time only. Reservations for hand-built pottery experiences must be made at least one day in advance. Visitors can take the silver accessories they create home with them that day. While the workshop accepts reservations by both phone and e-mail, last minute reservations are only accepted by phone.

"A 30-minute drive from the Kawaguchiko Interchange. This Japanese cedar can be reached from the northeast shore of Lake Shoji by travelling a short distance after turning north on Prefectural Route 706. Located on the grounds of Suwa Shrine, the tree is believed to be around 1,200 years old. The huge tree is also 40 meters tall, making it one of the largest of its kind in the prefecture. Designated a National Natural Monument, the tree is also known as the ""Thousand Year Cedar."" In the past, the area around the roots at the base was measured, but the ground was re-leveled after a typhoon, making it impossible to take identical measurements today."

This beach on the northwest shore of Lake Saiko is about a five-minute walk from the Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba bus stop or about a 20-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Interchange. It is most notable for its view of Mt. Fuji looming large beyond the Aokigahara Forest. Seeing Lake Saiko, one of the Five Fuji Lakes formed when an eruption completely changed the area's terrain, juxtaposed with the Sea of Trees can remind one of the threats that nature can pose. While Mt. Fuji is of course a sight to behold during the daytime, it becomes an exceptionally beautiful sight during a sunset.
