They offer a variety of experiences including handicrafts such as woodworking and flower pressing, pizza making in stone ovens, stargazing, and walk rallies (reservation required).

Northeast of Kyoto, the ancient Tojinbo Cliffs separate Fukui prefecture from the Sea of Japan in a stretch of land well worth exploring.
