- Sakura keeps over 20 kinds of pesticide free or low pesticide teas bought directly from contract farmers all over Japan, all offered in a simple, modern shop. The traditional Japanese sweets on offer with the teas are also popular, with the biggest hits being the richly flavored gelatins made with select matcha, and the Matcha Parfait, with matcha flavored gyuhi-style rice cake. Their tofu lunch plates are also delicious. It’s located four minutes’ walk from Minatomirai Line Motomachi-Chukagai Station Exit 5.

訪れてみたかった茶倉にやっと行けました。和パフェ、とっても美味しかったです。お茶の美味しい入れ方も教えていただき、お茶と食べるパフェ、最高でした。お店の雰囲気も良く、のんびりできました。他の味も食べてみたい！リピートしたいと思います。

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
