    A buffet and sit-down dining restaurant located on the first floor of the Yokohama Grand InterContinental situated along the coast in Minato Mirai. Walled in with giant glass windows, diners can enjoy a spectacular view of the ocean outside the hotel. Over 40 dishes are served in the buffet at any given time, and the sights, sounds, and smells spilling out of the open kitchen are sure to whet your appetite and enhance your dining experience. The restaurant takes particular pride in its roast beef, which is cooked in a charcoal oven and specially sliced for patrons by a chef.

    We had the breakfast here it was a rather ordinary assortment of items. They did lack fresh fruit and only has melon and pineapple.

The unusually named omelet rice charisma, created by chef Ken'ichi Konno, is particularly popular.

    Mostly food and gift shops. It was around Xmas time so we just walked around to see what they offered. They had temporary tents up selling seasonal food set up between the two buildings.

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha.
